BROWN BOX CREATIVE is pronounced with an emphasis on the word creative.  Our name is derived from the physical appearance of our home (a brown box) which also contains our studio. The project is the womb out of which the art work of Howard Goldson (painter)and Susan Sammis (photographer) is born.  Our work can be viewed at the studio by appointment as well as at Varga Gallery in Woodstock, N.Y. where pieces are usually on display. Both Susan and Howard are active artist at the Woodstock Artist Association and Museum (WAAM) where their work is also often on display. To see the full breadth of their exploration a studio visit is recommended.
